Do you buy the alcohol?

As a dry-bar in the state of California, we can only serve alcohol, but we can't be the ones to purchase it. Our team can coordinate the ordering, pick-up and even delivery of the alcohol for your event ensuring that you have enough based on your final guest count. We also have strategic partnerships with sommeliers if a curated wine offering is something you would like to add-on to your beverage experience.

Do you carry insurance?

We carry general event insurance and liquor liability insurance. Additionally all our bartenders have completed Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training and are certified. 

Where are you based and how far will you travel?

The Epicure team is headquartered in San Diego, CA. Travel outside of San Diego County is based on how far in advance you book. Travel to Palm Springs, CA and Orange County, CA is possible, but please be sure to book us as early as you can so we can plan around your event (additional fees apply).

What is your payment and refund policy?

A 35% deposit is required to book your reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to your event. Cancellations made within 60 days of the event will not receive a refund for any payment(s) made.

Is gratuity included for the bartenders?

We have found that our clients prefer to include gratuity ahead of time (20% at the time of booking) so that their guests do not feel pressure to offer gratuity. However, if you would prefer for the bartenders to accept tips at your event, we can accommodate that as well.
