Epicure is San Diego's leading luxury mobile bartending experience, specializing in chef-curated cocktail and mocktail menus for corporate events, brand activations, client and employee appreciation nights, trade show booth activations, and private celebrations like weddings and bridal showers. We bring a full turnkey, bespoke beverage experience to your event from custom menu development to luxury glassware, artisan iced and professional staff. We serve San Diego County, Palm Springs and Orange County.

2 / What makes Epicure different from other mobile bartending services?

Epicure specializes in hospitality and service. Our team builds every menu from scratch with our in-house chef for your event your guests. We offer both craft cocktails and elevated mocktails so every guest feels equally considered. We source premium, local ingredients including artisan ice, and specialty mixers, and we bring luxury glassware and custom branding options including branded glassware, cocktail toppers, and signage. All fresh-pressed juices, syrups and garnishes are prepared and made in-house with our chef's receipts and can be modified easily to accommodate dietary needs and special requests. Every event is treated as a unique, intentional experience rather than a standard service.

Epicure specializes in corporate events, brand activations, trade show and convention booth activations, client appreciation nights, employee appreciation events, product launches, cocktail making classes, wine and spirit tastings, chef tasting menu dinners with beverage pairings, and private milestone celebrations such as weddings and bridal showers. We work with companies, brands, and private clients across San Diego County, Palm Springs, and Orange County.

Epicure is headquartered in San Diego, CA. We primarily serve San Diego County, Palm Springs and Orange County. Additional travel fees apply for events outside of Southern California. Contact us to discuss your specific location and we'll let you know what's possible.

Booking Process

1 / How does the booking process work?

It starts with a complimentary 15-minute consultation where we learn about your event, guest count, and vision. From there we develop a custom proposal for your review. Once you're happy with the proposal and sign off on the menu, we handle all sourcing, staffing and logistics. A 35% deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 14 days before your event.

2 / How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible ideally 2 to 3 months in advance for corporate and private events, and 3 to 6 months for larger activations or events requiring custom branded items like glassware or signage. For events outside of Southern California, early booking is especially important to ensure availability. That said, we'll always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests depending on our schedule.

3 / What is your payment and cancellation policy?

A 35% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to your event. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will not receive a refund for any payments made. We recommend booking early to protect your date.

4 / Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes! Every Epicure engagement starts with a complimentary 15-minute consultation. This is a no-pressure conversation where we learn about your event, discuss your vision, and share how we can bring it to life. You can book directly through our website at your convenience.

5 / Can I get a custom quote for my event?

Absolutely. Every Epicure event is custom-priced based on guest count, event duration, menu complexity, location, and any branded add-ons. We don't offer one-size-fits-all pricing because no two events are the same. Submit a quote request through our website and we'll follow up promptly with a tailored proposal.

1 / Do you offer non-alcoholic options?

Yes! Epicure offers fully elevated mocktail menus, wellness-inspired beverages, craft lattes, matcha, kombucha, and custom non-alcoholic drinks that stand on their own, not as an afterthought. This makes us especially well-suited for daytime corporate events, trade show booth activations, and any event where you want every guest to feel equally taken care of regardless of whether they drink alcohol.

2 / What does your typical booth activation menu look like?

Our go-to daytime booth activation menu features non-alcoholic, wellness-inspired beverages designed to draw foot traffic and give your team 2 to 3 minutes of natural conversation time per drink. Popular menu includes options like a Strawberry Matcha Latte, Golden Milk Latte, Immune Boost Ginger Tea, and Elderberry Pear Kombucha. All menus are fully customizable to your brand, event theme, and preferences so we can design a menu to match brand colors, event themes, and provide custom drink names.

3 / Can you create a cocktail menu around our brand?

Absolutely! Brand-forward menu development is one of our specialties. We can build a custom cocktail and/or mocktail menu around your brand colors, flavor profiles, company name, or event theme. We also offer branded glassware, custom cocktail toppers with your logo, branded napkins, and custom menu cards to create a fully cohesive brand experience at the bar.

4 / What other event experiences do you offer beyond a standard bar?

Epicure offers a full range of curated experiences beyond a standard cocktail bar. These include bottled to-go beverages branded with your company logo exclusive to to and your event, interactive cocktail making classes where guests become the bartender, intimate wine and spirit tastings, and chef tasting menu dinners with thoughtfully paired beverages developed in partnership with a private chef. 5 / Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences?

Yes. We build every menu around your guests' needs and can accommodate a wide range of dietary preferences including non-alcoholic, low-sugar, gluten-free, and vegan options. Just let us know during your consultation and we'll make sure every guest has something exceptional to enjoy.

Logistics

1 / What's included in Epicure's service?

Every Epicure engagement includes a complimentary consultation, fully custom menu development, all sourcing of ingredients and supplies, professional bartenders and servers, complete bar setup and breakdown, glassware (glass or plastic depending on the event), bar accessories including napkins, straws, garnishes, printed menu, and a dedicated event coordinator who manages everything from start to finish.

2 / Do you provide the alcohol?

California is a dry-hire state, which means Epicure is licensed to serve alcohol but not to purchase it on your behalf. Our team coordinates the ordering, pickup, and even delivery of the alcohol to make the process as easy as possible. Alternatively, we can provide a detailed shopping list based on your guest count and menu so you know exactly what to get. We also have partnerships with sommeliers if you'd like to add a curated wine offering.

3 / Do you set up and break down the bar?

Yes, full setup and breakdown is included in every Epicure engagement. We arrive early to set up the bar area completely before your guests arrive, and we handle all breakdown and cleanup when the event wraps. Your only job is to enjoy your guests.

4 / How many bartenders do I need for my event?

Great service is paramount to us. As a general guideline, we recommend one bartender per 20 guests for a craft cocktail bar. For larger events or events with complex menus, additional bartenders ensure every guest is served promptly and the quality of service stays high. We'll make a specific recommendation based on your event details during your consultation.

5 / Are your bartenders licensed and insured?

Yes. All Epicure bartenders have completed California's Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training and are certified. Epicure carries both general event insurance and liquor liability insurance for every event.

6 / Is gratuity included?

We've found that most clients prefer to include gratuity at the time of booking, typically 20%, so their guests don't feel any pressure to tip during the event. This is our default recommendation. However, if you'd prefer your guests to tip the bartenders directly at the event, we can accommodate that as well. Just let us know your preference when booking.

7 / Can you brand the bar setup itself?

Yes, we offer fully branded bar setups including bar wraps with your logo and brand colors, custom signage, branded glassware, cocktail toppers with your logo, and branded napkins. These add-ons are especially popular for brand activations, product launches, and corporate events where you want the bar to serve as a fully immersive brand touchpoint. Ask about our branded add-on packages when you request a quote.
